GRACE BERNNI Publisher Editor This year the Tintic Historical Society is planning something new to them in the form of a tour of historic buildings, open to the public, and manned with tour guides. The society is looking for volunteers to help in this endeavor. The tour will be held on May 16, as part of statewide Preservation Week activities. They will begin at 9 a.m., at the old Convent. Registration will take place there, and those who wish to walk the tour may leave their cars in the parking lot at the St. Patricks Church. The buildings confirmed available for the tour so far, include: the convent, St. Patricks Church, CATHOLIC: Celebrant at the Sunday mass at St. Patricks Church was Father Walter.
