Joy was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Marcola, OR, to Giles P. and Lucille Bowers Jones. He married Virginia Hord in Eugene, OR. They were later divorced. He married Roberta Mae Nelson, June 11, 1968, in Evanston, WY. Whiskey Jones was an active after 20 years of service at the Utah State Prison. Roberta was born May 19, 1935 inLehi to Nels Edward and Sadie Louise Turner Nelson. She married Dean Olsen in 1954, and they later divorced. She married Joy Delbert Jones, June 11, 1968, in Evanston, WY. Roberta enjoyed her association and activities with her husband in the Mountain Men Association. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and other handiwork. For their excellent job of traffic control, we extend our appreciation to City Marshal Jerry Fullmer and the members of West Juabs Sheriffs Patrol. Mayor Don Treloar also did his best by being present and extending a welcoming hand. Last, but far from least, we express our gratitude to EMT Adele Allinson for the efficient way she rendered first aid to an injured rider.
