Special Service District elects new officers A special session of the Board of Directors of Special Service District 1, was held at the Juab Giunty Center in Nephi prior to the regular Juab Gmnty Board of Commissioners meeting. The meeting was conducted by Joseph A Bernini, temporary chairman, and was attended by: Richard M. Brough; Ruth Ann Garrett, temporary secretary; Donald J. Eyre, Jr., Giunty Attorney. Others in attendance were: Evelyn Lomax, Ina Kay, Ncbckcr, Lorcnc Kirgan, Zoc Gibson, Maurcnc Stephenson, Kathryn Anderson and Randy Frcston. Attorney Eyre addressed the group and explained that when the Spe1 was crecial Service District ated, the Giunty Gimmissioncre were designated as the directors of the district. The first item considered was theelcction ofa chairman of the board of directors, a and other board members. It was agreed that the Service District would be expanded from three members to five. Thc temporary chairman noted that the Service District has been awarded a grant from the Gimmu-nit- y Impact Board. Elected to the Board of Directors were: Commissioner Richard M. Those changes are: change town to city, list equipment that can be used and maintenance on that equipment, change Justice of the Peace to Justice Court or Judge, add a y cancellation clause, and also a provision for specific patrol times. A draft of this new agreement is to be finished by August 1, 1989. Debbie called the County Clerk on Monday, after finding out that a commission meeting was taking place, and asked to be put on the agenda. Pat Greenwood gave her a 7:15 p.m. time and she, accompa- nied by Joyce Ryan, were in the Commission Chambers at that time to make a request for funds to help the float.
