Coundlmen in attendance were Tim Hannifin, June McNulty, Ron Bray, and Evans Long. Councilman Jay Evans was excused. Joe Bernini, City Marshal; Alliene Farren, Recorder; and George Gillespie, Watermaster; were also present. Myron and Pauletter Carpenter, local business people, met with the council to inquire about business licenses and also asked for an explanation of their water bill. Other citizens attending to ask questions about the water rates, were the Jeff Andersons, Warren Holmans, Terry Pierces, Mike Drussel, Keith Myers and the Mark Youngs. A special meeting was scheduled on Tuesday, July 21, 1987, at 7 p.m. to try to iron out some of the problems.
