Born October 31, 1923 at Eureka, Juab County, to Joseph Wayne and Asenseth Laity Bowden White. He married Roxie Mabey May 1, 1948 at later Chenny, Washington; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survived by wife, North Salt Lake, grandson, George Ball Ormsby, Oregon; four brothers: William Wendall Walter White, Boise, Idaho; Howard Ray White, Buhl, Idaho; Joseph Wayne White, r., Boise Idaho; Donald Eugene White, Halley, Idaho; preceded in death by one brother, John Bowden White, daughter, Debra Jean White Ball Martindale and two granddaughters. He was a Veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, Major U.S. Army Air Force. Upon retireing from the Air Force in 1965 he moved with his family to North Salt Lake where he attended the University of Utah and majored in accouunting. Upon graduation he worked for ZCMI, where he was employed at the time of his illness. Tom served in many positions in the Church.
