Over the next few weeks, well be printing a full schedule of events in the Reporter, and the flyers will be ready for distribution in the near future. Several new things have been added this year. workshop on cataloguing will be held on July 16, 10 a.m., at the Tintic Mining Museum, upstairs in City Hall. The workshop will be presented by Ann Brookhyser and phil Notarianni from the State History Museum. Everyone is invited to attend, and especially persons who will volunteer some time helping catalogue items in our local museum. Both credits are available for items purchased and installed on a The camp is divided into nine different stations including arts and crafts, a cable ride, archery range, BB gun range and flipper area. A nature walk is also included as part of the days activities. The boys arrive in the morning, register and are then divided into managable groups for the rest of the day. Each group has its own flag and are taught songs and yells as they move around the camp. About 18 men and boys act as camp staff to help the cub scouts during their stay at the camp. The cubs bring their own lunch which they eat at noon. Each year the camp is arranged a little differently so that the boys get something new each year during ' their three years as cub scouts. Th camp operates almost every week during the summer months while school is out and will handle several thousand boys during the summer.
