Show Volume Seventy-Si- x Eureka, Utah 84628 Number 44 November 6, 1981 Approximately 75 percent of Eurekas registered voters turned out for Tuesdays municipal election. In the mayoral race, Fred Garbett defeated his opponent, Glen Wilde, with a 220 to 46 vote tally. Winning the two seats on the council and running unopposed, were Jay Evans (243) and lone Ryan 206). Write-i- n votes for the council seats were tallied as follows: Vance Wilde (13) ; Fred Laird (2) ; Mary Lou Draper (1); NedAllinson(3); Ronald Bray (1); Earl Grimstead (1); and Ed Snell (1). The break-dow- n per voting district is as follows: District No. 1: Fred Garbett (67); Glen Wilde (21); Jay Evans (80); lone Ryan (62). District No. 2: Fred Garbett (65); Glen Wilds (9); Jay Evans (66); lone Ryan (58). District No. 3: Fred Garbett (88): Glen Wilde (9); Jay Evans (66); lone Ryan (86).
