A good turnout of revelers danced to the music of the Gary Gillespie band until the wee hours of the morning. Firemen gave a special vote of thanks to Chris Evans and Gus Walker for the lighting; to Vernon Jones for cleaning and setting up the area ; and to Bracks Brunch, the Summit Drive In and the Silver Club for donating the door prizes. Proceeds from the dance will be used to help defray the expenses rf the construction of a new fire station. Construction will begin as soon as the large culvert, which the department has been working on for some time, is in place. 26 The bazaar committee may be contacting you, or the raffle committee may be bugging you for a donation. Please be generous again, as in the past years. We need your support. We need all sorts of items for the bazaar to be held on Sunday, September 14. If you have things to donate, contact Lilly Erickson, Clara Bates, Coleen McNulty, or any other member of the historical society. Word will get back to us. Voter Registration Day The first registration day prior to the September primary election, is next Tuesday, August 5. The second day will be Saturday, August 9. Registration agents in West Juabs four voting districts are: Eureka No. 1 Rebecca Montoya; Eureka No. 2 Virginia Cartwright; Eureka No. 3 Bessie Agnes Peterson; Mammoth Toone.
