Show Tintic School District evaluated for yearly progress Tintic School District Eureka, UT District Information Release-AY- P Under the accountability provision in the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, all public schools are evaluated for Adequate Yearly Progress (SYP). Schools, districts, and the state are required to meet AYP criteria on three indicators - (1) participation in testing, (2) language arts and mathematics Core CRT scores, and (3) either graduation rate (for high school and districts) or attendance rate (for elementary and middlejunior high schools). This current report of AYP is based on student scores for tests taken in the spring of 2003. There may be school results that seems confusing. A school may be doing a good job as a whole but miss the mark for a particular subgroup of students.
