Another ace by Lanford propelled the Flyers’ advantage to 22-20. However, Barneys killand block along with Valantine’s kill, and a Dixie net violation, made it 24-22 and put the Warriors on the brink of winning the match. The Flyers battled to 24-apiece on Uluave's two kills, but Murphey’s block and kill punctuated the match to run SC’s stellar string of titles to three. “T didn’t think (it would be over in) three games, Murphey said. “We just played our volleyball and that’s how it turned out.
