GEORGE — EI Ilev6 a cabo un evento sdbado 15 se recreacional con el propdsito de celebrar el mes de la hispanidad en un edificio de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias, localizado en el area de Dixie Down. Alrededor de 500 personas se dieron cita a la noche de celebracién que comenz6 a las 7 p.m. con una present- acién bilingiie y en la cual hubo cantos Arriba, Aileen Clotet danza un baile peruano dedicado a su pais de origen durante la Noche de Hispanidad, un evento bilingiie que festejé el mes de la hispanidad en Estados Unidos. Abajo, Participantes en el evento recorren distintas mesas en la sala. y bailes originarios de diversos paises latinos. Mesas con variedad de comida tipica de cada region centro y sudamericana, escoltadas por las banderas de cada pais, fueron colocadas alrededor del recinto para la delicia de quienes dese- aban regresar por un momento a sus origenes a través de los sentidos del sabor y del gusto. Para otros, ir de mesa a mesa fue un breve recorrido por latinoamérica, descubriendo su cultura y sus: influencias a través de la comida y de los objetos artesanales tipicos y tinicos de cada lugar, los cuales fueron desplegados prolija y artisticamente en cada estandarte.
