Only Utah residents may apply for Sportsman permits. T roops then traveled west in thecanyun stopping to see old pioneer dwellings, and Indian st ructures and petroglyphs. The 150 Scouts and leaders all met together at Nutters Ranch to see the old time structures there, to receive prizes for the contests, and also to receive a colorful patch representing the area. Construction project at Cedar Springs boat ramp A construction project will begin Oct. 28 at Cedar Springs boat ramp The boat ramp will be dosed until next year. The Flaming Gorge Ranger District is asking everyone to use the Mustang boat ramp while Cedar Springs boat ramp is closed.
