The meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lunches will also be offered to the students enrolled at the Roosevelt Jr. High Summer Connections program which will run June 3 28 as a closed site to -- those children participating in that program. Duchesne sophomore to attend world youth leadership seminar Ben Farnsworth, sophomore at Duchesne Hirii, recently attended the Utah Hugh OBrian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar held May 1 at Aspen Grove campsite near Sundance. Farnsworth joined more than 90 other young leaders representing as many high schools from throughout Utah. At the end of the weekend after writing essays and being interviewed, Farnsworth was selected to attend World HOBYheld in Washington, D.C., where he and Shaylee Christensen of Vernal will represent the state ofUtah. They will spend a week during July at our nations capital where ambassadors from 50 states and 35 foreign countries will meet to draft a leadership code of conduct to present to the United Nations and President Bush. HOBY Leadership Seminars bring together a select group of high school sophomores to interact with groups of distinguished leaders in business, government, education and the professions to discuss present and Ai tore issues.
