Show TURM ON THE LIGHT the article khith appeared in last weeks news under the above caption contained some excellent argument in ili favor of maintaining the present meter rate we hope it was read by every citizen in brigham but the writer makes no disposition ot of the fifty per cent of energy that is being generated at the power plant and Is not being used what we have been contending tor for and that should be adjusted somehow so that it can be used in illuminating the city brigham city is very poorly lighted I 1 tile merchants on main street do not bum as many lights as they did formerly and the residents of the city turn out the lights when they go to bed and they go to toed bed early the street lights aide are insufficient to properly illuminate the city especially in view of the fact that only fifty per cent of of the energy generated at the city plant is put to use lets use that other fitt y per cent ln in illuminating our ell city r I 1 in n some manner there must be a way out of it and brigham city should be the most brilliantly lighted city in the state TURN ON THE LIGHT |
