She very much eqjoyed traveling and spending time with her children Jacqueline Fausett Jacqueline Laveme Chadboume Fausett, 30 year old wife of Anthony Fausett, and their eight month old daughter died Sunday, November 4, 2001 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jackie was born January 24, 1971 in Kemmerer, Wyoming to Bruce and Carol Preston Chadboume. She married Maxie Chapas Chapoose and later divorced. They had three children, Joshlyne N. Chapoose, Max Elijah Chapoose and k V. BROWN Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Victor Clarence Brown, age 86, of Roosevelt, posed away peacefully onNovember 6, 2001 in the Uintah Basin Medical Center. Vic was born October 7, 1916 in Monarch, Duchesne County to Clarence Arthur and Nellie Wilde Sampson Brown. He married Catherine Laura Crow October 6, 1936 in Duchesne. She died March 23, 1943 in Monarch. Vic married Arvil Miller on August 2, 1944 in Vernal. Vic was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed serving in the High Priest Group in the Roosevelt Cove Ward. Vic was a longtime businessman and supporter of Roosevelt and the Uintah Basin. He was instrumental in creating and developing business, agriculture, induntrial and civic opportunities in the Uintah Basin. Ins parents homesteaded in Monarch 1913, "an area of cedars and sagebrush that had to be cleared with horses-n- o cars or gasoline engines. Through the years, Vic has worked for die Indian Emergency Conservation Act, the CCC Camps, school bus driver to Roosevelt, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (a job involving 9 counties) and as a Roosevelt businessman. In 1961 he purchased Roosevelt Equipment and sold farm equipment and Hudson cars. In 1956, he purchased McKinley Chevrolet and Buick. After selling that dealership, Vic worked for the Tribal enterprise for the Ute Indian Tribe. At the request of the Business Committee, he was asked to serve on a ranch commission for the Ute Tribe, and at that time helped to set up a plan of operation. He managed the operation of the enterprise and moved to Fort Duchesne. Vic was instrumental in starting the oil well drilling activity in the Uintah Basin. Through Haalmgs with Carter Oil Company and investors in Vernal, he was involved in the drilling of an oil well with Chevron, that started the oil boom in 1968. He was proud of his wife, Arvil, and his family of five sons and one daughter. Vic and his wife maintain a beautifully landscaped yard and a lovely home by the Constitution Park. The last few years of life, Vic has enjoyed spending time at the cabin and riding throughout the Uintah Basin with Arvil. Vic is survived by his wife, Arvil of Roosevelt; sons, Ronald Clarence (Marilyn) Brown, Spanish Fork; Allen N. (Jeanie) Brown, Springville; Ernest Niles Brown, Monarch; daughter, Vickie Ann (Chris) Carling, Fillmore; JaNae Liddell daughters-in-laBrown, Sandy; and Peggy Player Brown, Anchorage, AK; Tgrandchil- dren, 27 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His was preceded in death by two sons, Glenn Roy Brown and Robert Victor Brown; grandson, Kevin Allen Brown; parents, sister, Mildred Brown Miller; brothers, Arthur Wade Brown, Raymond Sampson Brown and Douglas Dale Brown. Funeral services held Saturday, 12 Noon, at the RooeeveltLDSWeet Stake Center. Interment in the Roosevelt Memorial Park under the direction of the HullingerMortuary. Alania Marie Chapoose. She was married to Anthony James Fausett at the time of her death. Jacqueline is survived by her three children, brother Jason Chadboume, great aunt Ava, grandmother Jenny (Jackie)Marie Preston and Grandparents Millie and John Thorson of Big Piney Wyoming. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Gayle Preston. Shirley was bom February 23, 2001 in Salt Lake City to Anthony and Jacqueline. Marx Edward Daniel Kennelly, age 90, of Duchesne, passed away November 6, 2001, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center. He was bom June 13, 1911, in Salt Lake City, to Edward Baron andNorina Jensen Kennelly. He married Heidi Ingrid Karin Schwarze on May 24, 1974, in Elko, NV. Edward enjoyed Ashing, camping, hunting, shooting squirrels from hu chair in the garage, and visiting with anybody who dropped by. He retired from the Utah State Highway Department where he had worked for 41 years as-aengineer. He helped in buildingmany ofthe roads in the Salt Lake area. He Bpent the winters in Yuma,AZ. He is survived by his wife, Heidi, Duchesne; brother, Weeley (Dorothy) Kennelly, Kennewick, WA; Luane Decker, Lola Kennelly, brother-in-la- w, Scott Watkins, all of Salt Lake City; mother-in-law- , Hildegard Petersohn, Germany; 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Watkins, and an infant sister. There was cremation. Arrangements handled by the Hullinger Mortuary. She was married to Lonzo Clinton Marx in the Salt Lake Temple, May 31, 1933. She is survived by her husband, Lonzo of 68 years, 3 children, Peegv (Wayne) Leavitt of Lehi, Utah; Larry (Barbara) Marx of Highland, Utah and Harold (Christine) Marx ofHacienda Heights, California, her two sisters, Thelma Morrill of Ogden, Utah and Elnora Creech of Mira Loma, California. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 38 Sylvia's proudest accomplishment was her family. She loved to cook for her family and took pride in a well kept home. She took great care ofher family and could not have done a better job of taking care of her husband, Lonzo after his stroke. She loved gardening, pain ting and music. She loved the outdoors especially to go fishing. She had a love for all nTmak and greatly loved her dog, Ginger. She was a member ofthe Church of Jesus Christ ofLatter-da- y Saints . She loved the Gospel and served in the Sunday School, Primary, Relief Society, as a Stake Missionary Secretary and as a Visiting Teacher. She and Lonzo also served a mission to the Atlanta, Georgia Temple. Services will be held Monday, November 12, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Edgemont North 10th Ward Chapel, 4300 North Canyon Road, Provo, Utah. Lillis married George William McConkie on February 27, 1930, in Heber City. They had a daughter together. Iris Lou "Dolly. They were later divorced. She then married Charles Robert Alexander on July 8, 1935, in Salt Lake City. They had two children, Robert and Jewel. Lillis eqjoyed embroidery, quilting, crocheting, arrowhead hunting, Classifieds! Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple on June 22, 1978. Letah eqjoyed traveling, camping, sewing and doing crafts. She was a great cook and always made sure evil eryone was well fed. She had a sense of humor and loved playing with the grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Clifford, Cedarview; children, Clell (Carolyn) Woodward, Cedarview; Karen Lee (Ron) Dye, Woodland HUls; KarmaMary (Aaron) Pace, Roosevelt; Pam (Eric) Nelson, Montwell; 10 Meeks.
