Competingagainst 39 doggers, at all levels, includingchamp and pro, only two would be selected, Amanda was one of the two selected. She went on to compete with 75 others hoping to winoneoffourplacesavailableonthe All Wyoming Freestyle Team. Cristy Reynolds traveled to Lyman, Wyomingon May 5, with her advanced team of doggers to compete at the Wyoming Open Championships. . Judges commented on best costume and skill level of the dancers. 3 Cherie DANCE SCHOLARSHIP Palmer, daughter of Redge and Amy Palmer, of Roosevelt, is the recipient ofthe Southern Utah University Burch Mann Dance scholarship. Only two of the scholarships are awarded each year. The scholarship is named after the founder of the SUU dance program and American FolkBallet Cherie is a 1 997 graduate ofUnion High. She is a senior at SUU majoring in dance with a theaterminor. She would like to dance professionally after her graduation next year.
