When 1 uas a kid I worked hand to earn enough money to by my first bicycle. One day the neighborhood bully tried to take my bicycle. When I wouldnt give it up, he twisted my arm behind my back until it hurt. A grown-u- p saw this and asked what was happening. The bully said he was "negotiating with me over the value of my bike." As I observe the County's condemnation of the Ray 1 turning property I cant help but be reminded of (hat long ago bully. County commissioners 1 tom son and Snyder have voted to condemn Ray I turnings private property and have hired a Salt I Jtkc attorney to prepare the court proceedings. Then the Commissioners have the nerve to say they only hired the attorney to help with the "negotiations over the value of Ray 1 1 untings land." I am here to tell you it is no fim negotiating with your arm twisted behind your back. The lack of "good faith" in the negotiations over the acquisition of Ray 1 1 untings private property is an insult to the taxpayers of Uintah County. The question is- - "Who's the Next in Line," for condemnation of their property? It is time for a change in our local government. On June 27th, you have the opportunity to effect that change.
