Gray, who coached football at Roosevelt Junior High in 1988, earned a bachelor degree in mathematics and a masters in administration at Brigham Young University. He is a graduate of Glendora First, all Roosevelt City employees. These fine people sacrificed a 3 day holiday and time with their families. They wnt above and beyond the call of duty to do what ever was necessary to make die event a success. While at high school he played football, basketball and baseball. He left Roosevelt and then coached as an assistant for three years at West High School in Salt Lake City in the early 1990s, and also coached at Weber High School. While attending graduate school at BYU, he helped with the Payson High School football program in a position. Gray and his wife have nine children. Three are still at home with all boys, who will be attending school in Duchesne. One son will be a junior, another a freshman and third a fifth grader. When asked about his decision to coach football at Duchesne High School, Gray said, 1 like a small community. We have some good kids with a great attitude and a very supportive community. Gray has already met with Duchesne High School students football players and commented, We had a good positive turn out. Last year, Duchesne posted a winless season, and Gray said, We are hoping for better things this year. We have some good captains and hope to turn things around. Gray named his captains at the first meeting of football players and they are: Eagle One, Dustin Tollefson; Eagle Two, Cody Flint; Eagle Three, Ryan Crum; Eagle Four, Troy Nielsen; Eagle Five, Adam Tanner.
