Loma McKee - 247-23- The ward was saddened Sunday night to learn ofthe death ofSharon Dennis McKee 58, and ofthe hospitalization of her husband Ron McKee from a head-o- n collision on Strawberry Valley. Funeral services were held Monday Dec. 29 in the Tridell Chapel at 12 p.m. Mrs. McKee's husband was unable to attend the funeral because of injuries suffered in this accident. He is still a patient at the University of Utah hospital. Funeral services were held in Lehi Dec. 23, for Winford Gray in the Lehi Stake Center. Mr. Gray at the Ron and Merlin Mckee farm for the past 20 summers. Mr. Gray died of liver cancer Dec. 20 at his home. The McKee families from Tridell attended his funeral. Mark and Becky Dolich from Florida has moved into the Paul Wilson home. Becky is the of John and Lena Daniels of grand-daught- er Roosevelt. Eric Shumway, president of BYU Hawaii and living in Laie, Hawaii has been a visitor at the home of Merrilli and Darwin McKee. The Norman McKee family, Panguitch, were visitors Sunday and Monday at the home of Vida Mckee. Elder Kent Goodrich returned from his mission to Columbia, South Carolina this past week. His parents, Jerry and Lois Goodrich flew down to South Carolina to fly home with Elder Goodrich. He reported his mission this past Sunday in Sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Goodrich and children from West Jordan, spent with the Rac Goodrich the week-en- d family and were here to attend the mission report of Elder Kent Goodrich. Eric Ahlborn and family, Provo, enjoyed the Christmas holidays with Peggy and Margaret Ahlborn. Visiting with the Aaron Simmons family for the holidays were Brenda and Greg Duncan, Berneen and Steve Peterson and Darla Simmons from the Wasatch front. Thomas Elison and family. Payson, and Mr. and Mrs. David Elison and family, Erda Utah, were visitors with Margaret Elison also during the holidays. ?orP& The Tridell choir presented the Christmas program for sacrament meeting the Sunday before Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Von Sorensen, Clover Valley Nevada were visitors last week at the home of Kirston and Morrin McKee. Elder Randon McKee arrived home from his mission to Sao Paulo Brazil last week. He was met at the airport by his brothers and sisters. He arrived home in time for his mother's funeral. Virginia Ferguson - 353-45- Mrs. Virginia Ferguson was going to Vernal to attend Church Sunday morning when she dozed and ran into a ditch. No bones were broken but made her back and body sore. She spent 3 days in the Uintah Basin Hospital before going home, but she cant do any work that involves bending. GRandIrma Courtright spent the Christmas holidays with their son and family in Kallaspell Montana. She said the weather was good for traveling. Sherry Kay Rasmussen was home with her mother, Kay for a week. Kay had her family home for Christmas dinner. Laura Haslcm was home from San Francisco to spend 5 days with her parents, Verl and Leah Haslem over the Holidays. Arvin and Ma urine Bellon had a houseful of happiness for the holidays. On December 23, the family started to arrive. On the 24th they had all arrived. They were Stewart and Becky Morrill, Kaysville and children; Torry, Kim and Sterling. Melissa and Adam Davis from Evanston WY, 353-45- 28 The family of Kenneth and Cindy Labrum 'spent the Christmas holidays with Kenneths mother Kaye Hancock in St. George. Gaelynn Staser and daughter Danelle of Salt Lake City spent the Christmas holidays with her parents Roy and Toni Gardner and other family members. Visiti ng for a few days with Blaine and JoAnn Horrocks was their son Cary and Cindy Horrocks and three children from South Jordan. Karma and A1 Roberts of Salt Lake City visited the Christmas weekend with her mother Bernice Van Tasscll. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Barney and 2 sons Tyrcll and Trace Michael of Tooele spent Christmas with his mother Vella Barney. On December 18, Rouel and Bov. Tye and Danielle Henrie travelled to Salt Lake City. They met son Tryn there and saw some of the local sights, including the lights on Temple Square and listened to a special choir in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. They spent the night of Rouels sister Shorlet Leavitts home, and enjoyed a visit with her and husband Wayne. The next day they met the rest of their family all at the Airport and greeted their son Brandon as he returned from his mission in Ohio. He brought Nell Randall with him, a lady his brother My kel baptized in 1990. She came to spend the holidays with Mykel and Camille Henrie. The family all met at a local place and visited with each other before returning to their separate homes. For the Christmas holiday Bev and Rouel Henrie enjoyed having their family all home except Teryns wife who needed to visit her mother in Hungary. All were home for Brandons missionary report Sunday, Dec. 28, held in the Neola 1st Ward. Their friends and missionary companions of his were in attendance along with relatives from elsewhere. Bev's sister-i- n law RuLea Taggart and husband Poqjan came from Santa Clara and had three of their sons and their wives and children with them. After church the familys ate and visited and really enjoyed catching up on the past two years since Brandon left. Everyone returned home on Sunday and Brandon went to American Fork to find work and live with a companion from his mission, Daqjee Moser. Spending Christmas day with the ElRay Duncans and other Basin relatives were Tbm and Laurie Davis and children of Helper, and Steve and Marianne Searcy and children from Lehi. Marianne and children stayed for a weeks visit. Roxanne and John Walker and boys from Kearns spent three days visiting her parents Beaver and Gwen Duncan another daughter Julie of Salt Lake City also spent a week with her parents. Telephone visits came on Christmas day from Kevin and Travis who are on missions in Argentina and Arkansas. Visiting Christmas day and returning home to Layton on Friday, Dec. 26, was Hollie Perkins, Keith and Debbie Duncan and family. Linda and David Barney and three children of Layton spent 3 days at Christmas time with her parents Wayne and Jeanie Bastian and Lindas sister Debbie and Karl Hirshi and 4 children joined them on Christmas day for a Turkey dinner. Brady and Kate Udall from Harvard Idaho spent Christmas with Byron and Emma Rae Gilbert They have two children a boy Finn who is 3 years old and a two week baby named Hector. Bob and Becky Gilbert and children also spent Christmas Eve.
