Groote, the new Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of Utah, led the worship service at Community Presbyterian Church in Myton on Dec. 8. This was his first opportunity to fill a pulpit in a Utah church. The congregation enjoyed getting to know Rev. Groote during the lunch after services. Community Presbyterian Church has speakers from Presbytery conduct worship services every Sunday at 11:00 ajn. Hoopes Reighlyn Rogers of Ml Emmons, Ulan will enter the Senior M.T.C. January 8, 1997. She will serve 18 months in the England, London South Mission. Her farewell will be December 29, 1996 in the Altamont Stake Center, Altamont Utah. has Christopher Barton Hill received his mission call to serve in the Germany, Leipzig Mission. He will enter the mission training center cm January 8. His missionary farewell will be held in the Roosevelt 3rd Ward Chapel at 10:45 a.m. on December 29. By MclUta Yack Joe Percival, a Roosevelt native and a 1992 graduate of Union High School has designed a Utah logo shin which is bring sold throughout the state by Advergraphics owned and operated by Hyde Layton, located in Salt Lake City. The colorful logo features the word Utah in capital letters. The inside of each letter is filled with colorful pictures of wildlife and scenery. Percival has been involved with an throughout his life, and has an impressive resume. He represented Union High as the 1992 Art Sterling Scholar candidate and went on to be chosen as the Sterling Art Scholar for the Eastern Utah Division. In addition to creating the Utah logo shirts, he recently designed a logo for Hcber Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is currently doing a clip an CD through a local Utah company. Percival's most important claim to feme is the cougar on the southeast wall of Unions new gym. Percival is a second year student at Utah Valley Community College where he is majoring in art graphics and illustrations. He plans to pursue a career in graphic art when he graduates and eventually design computer graphics for Elder Kevin Wilson, son of Kent and Glenna Wilson of Myton, has returned from serving in the Michigan Detroit Mission. He will report in the Myton 2nd Ward Sacrament meeting Dec. 29, 1996 at movies.
