Christine Nation came home on Saturday of this last weekend. She is very much on the improve after having knee surgery. She had a whole house full of company come with her. They spent a couple of days with Marvella. The Bagleys son Elliot Todd entered the M.T.C. and will be serving his mission in the. Philippines. The ' Wilkerson - Workman family reunion was held August up in the Whilerocks Canyon and Paradise Camping grounds. It was a very special event getting with loved ones and lives. There were over 100 in attendance. members On Saturday they all .met together to have a meal together. The descendants of Wilson and Fay Mcikley held a Mcrkley family reunion on August 10, at the home of the Kipp Mcrklcy's. Their children that came were Kirk Merldcy, of Salt Lake, Phillip Merkely, Layton, Donna Odckirk of Kearns, hal Mcrkley of Idaho Falls, ID, Moma Grant and Kipp Mcikley of Duchesne. All the children were present except Hal. - There were approximately 80 - people there. Neva Rasmussen has been out lo Salt Lake to her Dr. again, they plan to perform surgery on her again some time next week. Glady's Nielsen was in Salt Lake to attend the marriage of her grandson Brad Jackson. He married Stacey Willey and were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Dr. Wayne Stewart, UBMC Director of Radiology, said his staff uses the endorsement process as a report card far the particular area of study being approved. "Accreditation helps us see where our quality stands compared to other institutions and where we need lo improve. Our motto in radiology is, perfection is our goal, excellence will be tolerated, so we welcome any opportunity to ' better the care alrrady being given here at the hospital Ur. Stewart said. The ultrasound staff received points based on the accuracy of certain anonymous exams given a month before the review, accuracy of reports, credentials of the radiologist and technologist and their continuing education. Both equipment status and equipment the maintenance also affected hospitals score. The information is reviewed by two radiologists from an American College of Radiology Committee and grading points are averaged to give the hospital a final score. The Uintah Basin Medical Centers ultrasound technology is for more than checking the status of unborn children. The UBMC also has a history of leadership in Duchesne 30 years ago. She said Dick died in 1988. The Olsens took the Uintah Basin Standard for 30 years and she still reads it now and then to catch up on the people she still knows. The Johnsons were of the Dave good friends Thomas's, and Bromleys and the Harold Gees. The Harold Gees visited with Dick and Oleah several years ago. George and Verl Nelson was up to Clearfield for approximately a week. They were guests at the home of their son Demon and Pam and their family. Both George and Verl kept Dr. apts. Jennie Merkley had her daughter Jana and Brent Sweat and family out Saturday. Also her brother Roy Chalwin of Oremand his son and wife were out. The Harold Gee's were in Provo on Friday the 23rd. They attended the Temple and visited with a couple of sick friends. They then drove up to Murray where they pent the night with . Harolds brother Max Gee. On Saturday they visited with Esther Gee. Merle. Killian and Orindas cousin Clem Shelton at the Doxy Hatch Care Center. Carl Wilson of Parawon passed away on Monday night at home of Cancer. They held a viewing on Friday evening and a grave side service on Saturday the 24th at 2 pjn. at the Talmage cemetery. Neva Rasmussen has been set up for surgery again this week. Although not of study require yearly fiiiiraiinn upgrades, the same technologist may wok in several areas that require different courses. In addition. Dr. Stewart completes 90 credit hours of reading, additional home study course work, and he attends three weeks of meetings each year. The administrative decision of the Director of the Stale of Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Codes to attempt reinstatement by merely revoking the approved Articles of Dissolution was an unprecedented, politically motivated arbitrary and capricious decision and is null and void without benefit of law; without a hearing or official notification of intent; The failure of the Governors Office and the Utah Attorney Generals Office to acknowledge or respond to our complaint filed on the 31st) r telephone ( day of July, 1996 is clear confirmation that UDC's decertification was lawfully completed and, THEREFORE, the only lawful alternative for the continued existence of UDC is for Affiliated Ute Citizens to exercise its power and authority and refile the Articles of Incorporation which we have not and will not da THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of Affiliated Ute Citizens, acting under its Federally approved and with all power and authority of law therein contained do hereby declare UDC dissolved Constitution and and hereby revoke all powers granted UDC and restore all such powers to the Affiliated Ute Citizens, the representative agent for the 490 associated members of the Ute Indian Tribe pursuant to said Public Law 671 and the laws of the United States governing Tribal assets. Phyllis Day was in Salt Lake for a few days visiting with her sister Dorotha Martin, she kept a Dr. apt. while there. Ferrin Gines, 79, of Tabiona passed away on Saturday morning in the Cedar Orest Care Center in Roosevelt of pneumonia. There was a viewing in Heber on Tuesday 9 evening from pjn. and a viewing from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Tabiona Ward. At the Senior Center in Roosevelt on Ttiesday, August 27 there was a retirement party held for Aita Ames, she has worked for the Seniors for years. There was a program given mostly given by her granddaughter, and friends gave tributes to her, she had gifts and books, cards and a plaque given to her. Sam and Mona Dean McGinnis of Duchesne had their son Mike of Lehi out to spend some time with 7-- them. The Tom and Lizy Thomas family reunion was held for three days up at the ranch home of the late Ray Thomas. They took campers and planned to stay. Barbara Hufty of Arcadia has had pneumonia, her sister Helene Ashur of Texas is at home with her. Emmett and Dorothy Evans has out to the LDS Hosp, where they visited with Dorothys nephew Derek Simonson. They also visited with Dorothy's sister Lyndia Simonson of Montana. Program staff and knowledgeable volunteers will be available during public as well as school hours to answer questions and offer assistance. Organized groups as well as families, adults and students who wish to spend extra time are all invited and encouraged to visit Leonardo during public hours on September 14 or 16. However, the Leonardo staff requests that young children not be dropped off to attend unaccompanied.
