Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6 at the Myton LDS Church under the direction of the Hullinger-Olpi- n Mortuary. Louis E. Loranger L Loranger Louis E. Loranger, age 74. of Montwell, died Sunday, January 7, 1996 at the veterans Administration Medical Center in Salt Lake City of proetate cancer complications. He was born August 22, 1921 in Montwell, Utah to Henry and Florence Ann Miller Loranger. He attended schools in Montwell and Roosevelt, Joined the UB. Army in November 1941 and was in three major battles in North Africa and Italy. He was wounded at Anzio Beachhead, Italy February 22. 1943 and lost an arm. He sms honorably discharged and cam, home and married Evelyn Louisa Crow September 18, 1945. Her husband Vernal has been very ill, while hee been in the Stewart Care Center in Rooeevelt The Harold Gees were out to Provo and Springville on Tuesday, They visited with a lit ' Opal Hill that is staying with her son Brent end Charlene Fcrsgren. Opal had spent two yean in a car Center in Salt Lake, till they decided that she needed more care than they could give her. Her daughter Jeri came up and took her back to AL with them. But her son Brent derided that he and hie wife would take her and keep her. Brent retired from a computer job, then derided to crane back up to Utah. He went to work far Computer, Ob in Provo. Opal has Alzheimer and Parkings Disease. She is very ill but she Knew both of us. She only weighs 73 lbs. The Harold Gee's spent Tuesday night in Provo with friends Leon and Norma Smith. Harold kept a Dr. apt in Provo Wednesday before they returned back home. Elmer and Maxine Thomas spent Christmas Day in Vernal. Ida Horrocks of Duchesne, has been in the Stewart Care Center in Rooeevelt passed away on Wednesday tee 27. Her funeral waa held in the Bridgeland Ward on Saturday December 30. She was the wife cf Clarence Horrocks, and has been quite ill for some time. Her sister in law Clarence and Ida Foy were up to the service. She was bom August 30, 1904 in Perron, Utah to Herman J. and Martha Verona Gardner Winkler. She married James Wilmer Murray December 8, 1923 in Vernal, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 24, 1985. Anna was active in the LDS Churdi all of her life.
