Pigr. 13 Bryson Hunt, David Campbell, : Barak Lemon, Anthon Gillespie, Robbie Winterton, Tyler Brown, Kadee Riser, Briana Thompson, Tirell Winterton, Ryan Wilkins and V Brook Hancock. They received a ; "High Achievement" award. Bryson Hunt, son of Bruce and Sandra Hunt, is one of only 100 students this year who received the Harry Sitomer Award. The award is given to recognise a perfect score; and since its beginning in 1985, only 213 awards have been presented. RMS team, Hunt receive Roosevelt Middle School recently received notification of eome outstanding achievements relating to their participation in the Math Olympiads program. During the 1992-9- 3 school year, 3,257 teams participated in this program. The 1 teams represented the United States, its dependencies and 23 foreign countries. A total number of 78,716 students made up these teams. Air Force "Dep" Volunteer Anthony Clayton Aired, Duchesne, enlisted in the UJ9. Air Forces Delayed Enlistment Program, according to TSgt Pat Hayes, Air Force recruiter, Sandy recruiting office. Anthony, a 1991 graduate of Duchesne High school, was scheduled for enlistment in the Regular Air Force May 26. Elementary schools from throughout the area participated in this yearly event where they experience real life math problems and tested their ability in solving them. In years past this life has been an event far sixth graders. This year the eixth grade hosted the event for the fifth Thirty teams from Ashley, Lapoint, Naples and Todd competed. A team from Ashley took first place; Naples, second; Ashley, third; and a tie between Ashley and Naples for fourth. Calculators were awarded to the highest place winners.
