Games will be played on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Roosevelt Middle School. A tournament will be played at the end of the season. Eight teams, Vernal Big O, Ross Brothers Feed, R & R Propane, Houstons, DelscoNorthwest, Vals, Jones Paint & GlasaVals and Uintah Basin Telephone, are members of the Mens League. Games are being played from 6 to 10 p.m. The league consists of 64 players. A total of 256 youngsters are taking part in the Junior Jazz Program, which contains six 1st through 2nd Grade teams, seven 3rd through 4th Grade crews, nine 5th through 6th Grade squads and eight 7th through 8th Grade lineups. Games are being played in the Roosevelt Middle School, Roosevelt Junior High and East Elementary. City Recreation is also sponsoring a ski program, which contains 39 students and two adults, Randy and Christy Knight, who are lending their support. The students are iking at Sundance.
