There was a Fish and Game Retirement get together over at Vernal on Friday, September 14. Those who attended from Duchesne were Dave and Ruby Thomas, Von and Darlene Thomas, also Alden and Ann Thomas and their friends of Orem. They all had a wonderful time. Alice Thompson went to Ogden for a couple of days to visit with her mother Edna Robertson and her daughter Margie Wayment Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Abplanalp and daughter Donna of Yucipa, California wen here for two weeks visiting with his mother Bernice Abplanalp. While they were here they went to Yellow Stone Park, Cody, Wyoming and other places of interest. They really had a good visit Mr. and Mrs. Brant Broadhead and grandchildren, DiAne Broad-hea- d and a friend from Santee, California, spent several days with his parents Delbert and Bernice Broadhead in Utah. , Yon and Darlene Thomas and son Jack have finally moved from their home in Randolph. Darlene retired after being in the past office for thirty yean. They now live in the home that the Mollittes used to live in. We hope they will like it here. We welcome than. Eldarie Scott and son John of Salt Lake spent the weekend with her mother Christine Nation. On Sunday, Richard and Vickie Fitzgerald also came and had dinner with them. George and Verl Nelson returned from spending a month in Gurney, Wisconsin visiting their daughter Reta and Robert Adamvich, they also visited with a grandson Robert and his family in Gurney. On their way home they also visited another grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cunningham and family in Fort Collins, Colorado. Ada Thomaa had foot surgery on September 12 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Her daughter Carol said ahe waa doing real good, and if she kept doing well, she could go to her daughter, Norma Wilsone for a day or could be brought home.
