John and Patricia Barton and family, Payson, spent the weekend with her mother, Marvella Wilkerson. Gerald and Chella's son, Wesley, was baptized Saturday, and confirmed Sunday. George and Verl Nelson drove to Clearfield last weekend. They went to attend the graduation of their granddaughter, Lori Nelson, daughter of Delmon and Pamela Nelson. Their other son, and his wife, met them Saturday and went out to dinner to celebrate in Bridgeland. Ruth KofTord waa in Mt. View, Wyo., for a week visiting her two sons, Dennis and Linda KofTord and Jerry and Nancy, and their families. Edyth Marett went ae chaperJoanne Burton and Robert Marshall, accompanying a group of 40 adults and 44 ons, along with students from the Altamont sixth Florgrade. They flew to Orlando, ida, and spent four days visiting Disneyland, Epcot Center, Kennedy Space Center, Seaworld end Magic Kingdom. They all went swimming in the ocean. Joanne Burton was in charge of much of the fund raising for the trip. Everyone enjoyed the trip, and learned many things of interest. Alton Bromley was brought horns from the Duchesne County Hospital Thursday last week, where she had been getting attention for a sore foot Lucius RSwaaey passed sway at home Thursday, June 8, after a lingering illness. A funeral was held for him at Bridgeland Tuesday, June 13. He had 39 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. He was buried in Provo. Don and Erma Mayhew, their daughter Glenna, and daughter, also Dons brother, Guy Mayhew, Salt Lake, went to the Western Chuck Wagon Jamboree for four days in Durango, Colo. Don and Erma Mayhew had their family all home for the Memorial weekend. Their daughter, Downette, and Keith Bradford, Salt Lake; DeAnn and family, Hyland; and Darla Thayne andfamily, WestValley, as well as Glenna and daughter, all visited. Bill and Shirlyn Peatross had a baby daughter bom May 27 at the county hospital in Roosevelt. She anniversary. V was named Jackie Peatross. She has one sister at home. The Duchesne senior citizens enjoyed several workshops Thursday, June 1, at the Cliff Mickeleon building. A large crowd attended and had dinner. Marvell and Verda Moore had a surprise visit from his brother, Jack, and Helen Moore, San Diego.
