Mr. and Mrs. Ezequiel Zubiate announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter J acqueline, to Shane Lee Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Anderson. Shane and Jacqueline will be married Saturday, May 7, at the Myton Community Building. A reception at the same location will follow, from 7 to 11 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Members from Price, Moab, Roosevelt and Vernal ware in attendance. District Director, Marion A. Behunin conducted the meeting.. Shirley Wilkins, of Vernal was elected district director. Ms. Wilkins is a teacher at West Junior High; Loy Hansen of Price will serve as vice director, Ms. Hansen has a cake decorating business; Betty Zeller of Vernal will assume the aecretaryAreaeurer positions. Mrs. Zeller is employed by the Social Services. The new officers were installed by State President Marilyn Hall and Past State Presi- . dent Lois Pickett Other outgoing officers besides Ms. Behunin were Nona Swenson and Donna Hayes of Roosevelt Ms. Hayes is now living in California where she is employed by Data- The following Women of the Year honored were: Janet Oliveto, Price; Alta Winwtrd, Vernal and Gwynith Parriott of Moab. Shar Lynn Benson, State Chairperson, presented each honoree with a plaque and a yellow carnation. Those not present were Nona Swenson, Roosevelt and Marilyn Harris, Utah Valley. They were recognized and will receive their plaques. Amber Gardner, Young Career Woman candidate won the Southeastern District title. She was sponsored by the Roosevelt organization. She will represent the district at State convention in St George, June 10, 11, and 12. Judges for the event were: Geri Harding; secretary at the Myton Herman Crambo, who celebrated his 95th birthday April 21, 1988, was honored by his family at a luncheon held at Montes Best Western Restaurant April 23. Those in attendance included Robert Holmes and Rose Crambo Holmes, Jacqueline Laursen, Mrs. Kelly Holmes Rush ton and family. A moment of silence was held for Lois Daneie, past state officer, and a dedicated BPW member of the Central District. Ms. Dansie passed away April 2 of a heart attack.
