OATH THE ISLE OF MAN the judicial oath in the isle of man Is so quaint as to deserve printing it runs thus by this book aad the holy contents thereof and by the wonder fi 1 worlds that god hath miraculously wrought in heaven above and in the earth beneath in MX days and seven nights I 1 do wear that I 1 will without respect of favor or friendship love or gain consanguinity or affinity envy or malice execute ohp laws of this isle justly between our sovereign lord the king and his subjects within this isle betwixt party and party ly as the herrings backbone botn he in the midst of the fish
