Some of the relatives stayed in campers and tents, and some slept under the stars during the three day festivities. Chris and Beth Gray were in charge of this year's reunion. The main day of the reunion was on July 12, at which time a program was presented. Beth's cousin, Joe Haslem, 93 years of age, of Jensen, was the guest speaker. He gave some of the early history of Vernal and this area hia speech wee fascinating to listen to, m he remembers Butch Cassidy and other famous figures of years gone by. Following the talk, the children of the Joshua Haslems presented the program. A potluck lunch was served, including beef, ham, salads and cakes, which the 130 family members enjoyed. Among those in attendance, were Lloyd and Florence Brown, of Kanab; David and Jean Irwin and family of Camarillo, California; Stacy and LuAnn Taniguzhi and family, of Anchorage.
