Show n Church dUSmtisilh ISsissamf Local writ i first book Writing a book is a fantasy which smolders in the hearts and minds of many, but few of us ever see the transformation of that fantasy hito reality. Isabell Roller Roberts, however, has completed her book and soon hopes to nave it published. The book, I Love The Birds, is a compilation of stories Isabell has developed to help tell her grandchildren how she feels about birds. Birds have a very special place in the world God made for us, said Isabell in the preface to her book. ' "They add beauty and love as well as have I do for nature. the work they written these stories about some of my. favorite birds to tell my grandchildren how I feel about them. I hope my message will reach out to other children and their families." . . Isabell has spent six years working on the book and finished it last fall. . She said she is now in the process of obtaining the necessary copyrights for the work. I have had quite a passion for the birds, said Isabell. She said she hopes the book will introduce the children ta the importance of the birds. i Mrs. Roberts said she has long had the desire to write such a book, and six years ago she decided to begin working. She explained that some of her family thought she may be wasting time, but she explained that she wouldnt know unless she tried. Copies of the book are presently on sale at stores in Roosevelt and Vernal. She has had some copies printed locally, but is now in the process of attempting to locate a publisher to cany the bode. Sorensen, son of Marlene Sorensen and the late Marvin Sorensen, has been called to serve a mission for the LDS Church in the Columbia, Ohio mission. He will give his farewell testimonial Sunday, August 28, in the Moon Lake Ward. He will enter the MTC September 8.
