DUCHESNE Under the fourth year guidance of Coach Stan Young, the Duchesne .Eagles placed first in the Region XIII Tournament and completed the season with a 17 7 record. Young said that murh of their success is the result of the play of Kirk Bailey and Tren Grant. Bailey, a 62" senior, averaged 18.4 points and 12.8 rebounds this season for the Eagles. His high scoring game was one of 29 points, and during the State Tournament he scored 25, 22 and 16 for the Eagles. Tren Grant, the 5H senior, 23.8 points and nine averaged rebounds per game. Grant averaged 30 points each game at the Estate Tournament, scoring 35, 25 and 30 points. Both Tren and Kirk made the varsity team as freshmen. Tren has started for three seasons and Kirk fin two.
