LAKE TROUBLE IS RESUMED marine firemen refuse the scale of cleveland the conference between marine firemen and representatives ot the lake carriers association which has been on for two days considering the question of wages ended abrupt ly late tuesday afternoon the marine firemen leaving the conference and refusing to accept the proposed wage scale As the longshoremen grain scoopers and water ten ders are affiliated it Is believed the break in negotiations will carry out all of these elements and throw the lake carrying situation back to where it was previous to last week when the agreement was reached between the lake carriers association and the longshoremen which resulted in resumption of traffic
