Peter rhrittian gardener, produce peddler and thresher came from Sunnysidc in I 1936. He bought the lot and building from the Algers who ran a Ford dealership at the location and sold Model Ts and As. Pete and his two and Lewis, built the business into a grain and feed business, where sonsCariylc they threshed grain and processed it for the formers. They also sold custom feeds, seed grains and garden products. The business was eventually bought out by Carlyle Jones and he expanded the business into hardware, and other farm and garden related products. He had four sons who all worked with him in the business. In 1975 Pat, his youngest joined forces with him. They tore down the existing grain . building and built a larger building in which to house the new hardware store. Pat's idea was to offer the county products that people had to travel to Price and other , surrounding towns to buy. Frapi there the store has grown to where it is now, offering more and more goods and services to the people of Emery County and even quite a few from Carbon County. The stores motto has been to treat the customer as they would want to be treated and to give the people a good product for a good price. The business today has 14 employees and offers over 30,000 items in inventory. The staff works very hard to provide excellent service to the customer. They cant distinguish between their friends and their customers so they band together to offer only the best customer service to the people they call friends. Ace offers housewares, home appliances, home furnishings, hardware, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, paint, sundries, sporting goods, automotive,- toys, wheel goods, KV supplies, sewing notions, cards and the the best service around.
