The runs were unan- By KAREN BASSO Sports writer In what has turned out to be a difficult season for the Lady Dinos softball team, the woes continue to plague the talented ball dub. The team's record is curwhich is not reflecrently tive of the skills the team posses. It seems as if the team is trapped into a cycle which will not allow the Dinos to prevail victorious after the last few innings of the game. 1-- 6, Last weeks home game against the Delta Rabbits played out much like many of the Dinos losses this season. The team plays strong throughput the game, most especially on the defensive end of the field. The couple of mistakes that the team makes most often leads to the Dinos defeat Last weeks game was no different The Dinos started the game strong, competing quite evenly with the Rabbits. By the bottom of the fourth inning, the Dinos found themselves ahead of the Rabbits, ; . The grass infield was wet and covered with snow, so conditions were bad for the throwers. In the boys division, Scott ferry placed second in the 3200 meter run. ferrys time was not his best, but he did beat some of the class 3As best 3200 meter runners, ferry also placed sixth in the 1600 meter run. Seth Marsing ran with foe leaden in the 800 meter run, until the last 150 meters. Therefore, Prettyman did not risk further injury and did not take rest of hu throws, settling for a sixth place finish. Jacob Burrows and some of foe other Dino athletes are getting better times, and hope to break through into foe top six places in foe next few meets. The next meet for the Dinos will be held on Wednesday at Emery High. The 3:30 p.m. start time should make fo r a warmer meet than the last one for foe Dino team.
