The students are paid HASH money, very much like a business, for jobs and projects completed, attendance, tutoring, and over all helpfulness. This money is spent at the auctions held in class. The students furnish the auction items and keep half of the money generated from the sale. This helps students gain an understanding of our free enterprise system, as well as supply and demand. The auctions are a popular part of the TLC program. On January 30, six FCCLA members participated in the regional star event competitions held in Provo.
