The victory combined with Emery1 7--5 Ions to Dolla aim onTucHduy put the Lady Unos buck . In wxxxxi place with tone half game lead over Emery Carbon came onwith a vengeance Tueaduy Jumpingout loan 11-- 0 lead before Kidifieid responded. DuCaro struck out seven, walked two, and give up five hits and three earned runs. Offensively Carbon registered eleven hits and scored twelve of fifteen base runners. Michelle Wilson registered throe hits while Mindy McBride and Michelle Rudcn each had two hits. After the game Coach DonGrese-mc- n commented on the Lady Dinos strong performance saying "We hit the bull well, had key hits, and didn't leave our base runners stranded. When asked if Richfield's win over Carbon on April 6 was a factor in the way the leum played, Grcssmen said, No, it wasnt a factor, but the loss to Emery last week was. It woke us up and opened our eyes."
