Utah Thursday March 30, 2000 14 Gary Howland PRICEGREEN RIVER Levin husband, father, prominent businessman and dear friend, Gary Lee Howland, 52, passed away March 28, 2000 in Green River, after a lengthy battle with heart disease and a 30 year fight with diabetes. He was born Aug 19, 1947 In Everett, Wash., to Janet Weegar and Earl Kasch. In 1957 Gary moved to Green River, and was adopted by his stepfather, Lee Howland. Married Paul Rcayand they had a daughter, Gena Iax. Later divorced, and married Koie Bunn In Moab In August 1977 and they had a daughter, Annalee. Member of Orient Lodge 15 F&AM. Longtime resident of Green River prior to moving to Iricc in 1985. Graduate of Green River High School and the College of Eastern Utah. Owner and operator of Castle Countiy Auto Iarts In Price and Green River Auto ftirts for the past 30 years. Gary was very adventurous and he loved competing in sand drag races and hill climbs, lie enjoyed Robert Bailey camping; fishing; snowmoblllng motorcycles and boating on the Green River and Lake Powell. He loved his grandchildren with aU his heart and they were the light of his life. Gary lived life to the fullest and was rich In friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. . ' 1953.
