The road trip began as a way for the Utah PTA to extend our appreciation to thousands of volunteers and celebrate the endeavors of the local units, said Darci Hansen, Utah PTAs community involvement commissioner. This road trip also takes on new meaning. Last year was the first time wedid the event, Hansen said. Our first day on the road was September 11.
