What the Kane County Commission has accomplished is something that few Utah counties and very few counties in the nation, for that matter, can claim: paying off their general obligation bond debt completely. A unanimous decision at a Commission meeting was to direct revenue generated from the sale of the old Kane County Hospital to assist in retiring a current bond on the Kane County Courthouse and office complex.
