In June, Judge Mary Manley granted a defense motion to dismiss all felony charges against James and Jeanne Redd, who are accussed of digging up an Anasazi burial ground on state land near Bluff in Janu-ar- y, 1996. In dismissing the charges, Manley agreed with the Redd's attorneys, who argued that prosecutors had insufficient grounds to refile charges after they were dismissed in 1998. In the 54 months since a San Juan County Sheriffs deputy witnessed the Redds at the site, there have been a flurry of legal proceedings.
