Frank was bom in 1901 in Ferron, Emery County, Gtah and has lived in Moab for almost 40 years. Frank was a ranchers for most of his life, and has been a poet for all of his life. Ln., Moab, GT 84532 (5.00 EA Gone Are The Days A Wistful Thought could say a word each day of cheer To help a fellow being on his way, Or from this pathway I could clear The obstacles that bar his way, And if his friendship I could claim If I drive away his fear, Then, when my time on earth shall wane, And I see the pathway clear, Ill Know my life has not been lived in vain Or wasted while I was here. As Gone are the days when my little campfire Gleamed on silent valley floor; Gone the open range replaced by barbwire. Gone, the great herds we will see no more. I Gone are the snows from the high peaks gleaming That I used to see on a late summer day. Gone the little glade where wandered dreaming. Gone is the solitude - gone far away. 1 -- miss the settlers lonely cabin, With the latch string always outside the door, Its replaced with cities of riot and racket, And machinerys grind and rumble, and roar. I used to travel. miss the coyotes mournful wail.
