In December of 1982( he graduated with a B.S. degree in physical education. This past year he attended Weber State College to attain his teaching certificate, which he received earlier this month. Although Parry is young, he is not inexperienced in coaching. The past five years he has assisted the South High football coaching staff while attending college at the University i fe. Parry plans to go to the air with his offense as soon as Jeff Brothers, who is playing the quarterback, is more experienced. Parry's short term goal for the season is to be a Region contender. "I feel the team will battle to win and I understand since they are young they will make mistakes, but I hope the community will understand were rebuilding and have patience. The first few games of the season will be a testing ground for both the team and Coach Parry, so there will probably be some changes in the line-u- p and strategy during the beginning of the season. Overall the Mustangs should be an exciting team to watch. As far as teaching goes, Parry will be the Special Ed teacher at Dugway High School. He is excited about his new experience and is happy to be here. T feel it is rewarding to work with young people and to help them to succeed. Parry enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing, and he loves to read. For the next few football he will build Dugway into an exciting and contending state championship team. months he will be busy with the football team but when those responsibiities are out of season, he will begin to en- -' joy himself with other sports and hobbies here on Dugway. Dugway is a new experience for Parry. When I asked him what he felt about Dugway his reply was, "Small! TTT ? JKf. f55 Vs i miwfTir Although Dugway is small, he is very impressed with the community's support of athletic programs. "I feel the people are so supportive of the athletic programs because of the size of the community, and Im going to do my best to make it as exciting for them as I can. Parry's future plans about Dugway will depend on how he contributes to the school and the team. "I will stay as long as I feel I am benefitting the school and football pro- gram. Ill probably be here from four to seven years depending on how well the team, does. Parry is eager and excited about his new position at Dugway.
