Saturday, descendants of the losepa families toured, several of the places in the area that were important to the people of the Hawaiian colony. The weekend was high- lighted Saturday evening with several Polynesian dance groups - including New d Zealand Caucasians the songs and dances of the Pacific Islands. On Saturday, the visitors got a glimpse of what life in losepa was about when they broke out hoes, shovels and rakes as the cemetery where per-lnue- colonists were buried The group got down was-cleaned- . knee-hig- h weeds and removed debris from the cemetery, which now serves as the only visible reminder of the Mormon colony that was inhabited from 1889 to 1917. Following the grave site cleanup a memorial service was held.
