Plan on forming an Army Officers team. Air Force Officers team, Army. Enlisted team. Physical Youth Activities am very pleased to announce we have a new youth activities director, Mike Arnold. Mike has been working with the common folks here at. Dugway. A brief description of Mikes background, 9 years in the Army and the majority of that time in Physical Activities areas. He was active with youth programs when he was assigned to the military in Germany. Mike is a "Navy Brat so he is familiar with the. military style of life. Prior to entering the service he lived and worked at Port Hueneme (I never can remember how to say that) Calif. He was associated with the youth programs and swimming pools while there. He is a WSI I (water safety instructor), ' married and has a 12-year-o- ld son, Stephen. We will soon be seeing programs and teen center. Welcome aboard, Mike. Additional note: the center will be - closedyouth for teen activities all day, April 21. The facility has been reserved for another activity. . some changes in the youth Outdoor Recreation We received word last week that we received a played culminating with the championship game on June 2, the "Big Day" for Dugway Days. These events have not been finalized as yet, and we could certainly use some volunteer help in setting up and conducting them. Please call. The current leaders (by 3y& games with 4 to go) are Chet and Dee Smith, Norma and Robbie Robertson. Some recent highlights have been Janet Pitcher had a 194 game, her highest ever, Laurie Good had a 200. Chet Smith had a 227 and 619 series. The team A&W (Argyles & Wildes) had a team game of .903. Thats the high team game in over 2 years, folks. Julie Beaman had a 235 game and a 571 set. Last Wednesday, the entire ladies Sunday league bowled the mens league in a match game competition. I guess the men decided to let the ladies win this year. It was a fun night for all. We will get them next year guys.
