Wouldn’t it be wiser to check the facts before you jump? I do not see either the GayStraight Alliance or the Boy Scouts as being the “greatest danger to our community” Instead I believe the greatest danger that we as a society face is our unwilling 0s Hallmark offers Eid-al-Fi- will applaud the move while others will be concerned but it raises an important question for us to consider can right and wrong be defined? If we see sad irony in the cartoon then we may wonder what the answer is Paul tells us in the verse before the warning “Preach the Word be prepared in season and out of season correct rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction” (2 Timothy 4:2) The answer that we need will not be found in popular opinion it will not come from science or government it will be found in the Bible Why? Because the Bible is die Word of God and offers us correction and encouragement in the way we should go If truth exists and if the Timo- ered morally right wrong and bad good There is certainly nothing hew with this nor should we Bible expresses this truth we must realize then that the Bible and not our feelings define what is true Rather than living according to how we fed we then need to live according to truth Jesus warns us that “everyone who sins is a slave to sin” Every-on- e means everyone no exceptions But he goes on to say that freedom from the enslavement of sin can be found in him a freedom that we cannot know apart from having a faith in Christ Now you may say “Well that is your opinion!” but actually it is not mine but God’s expressed in His Word For if it was just my opinion it would not matter but we are wise to consider God’s ion You may say that you do not believe in God and that of course is your choice but isn’t of rijght and wrong Some By Ekloh Peterson Continued from 9 ' v i Buy Al Shaw UJO Tdak Ohtna at wmmnwriataJacfeuom Hal lino KANSAS CITY Mo (AP) — Hallmark has created its first greeting cards for the Muslim holiday which marks the end of the monthlong fast of Ramadan ' One of the cards includes the traditional Arabic salutation “Eid Mubarak” which means “Happy Holiday” and also contains the message “May Allah bless the world with His peace and love” Eid-al-F- ' LOGAN ART CINEMAl " 795 North Main Roberts Dicki pg-is- i 700 900 itr 8 STADIUM 1L II II 535 W m flHT lm Lions Secondhand 700 son too r Mormon Mavis 190 430 'OS Priatoi Of Caribbean 90 TKe ro-i- 9 45 Ttvo ro-i- 30 1 SOUWH NMffifemy DaMy — Mat" All Seats S 200 - 3p ng ro-u- i 4 00 7 00 I FINDING NEMOm life-changi- 25 IVhm or Oasoeso Duplex 40 One lucky person will'win a $100000 at midnight on Saturday December 20 Will it be you? ro-i-r n! nPjJi 3QO 77irafrr4H GREAT GREAT OlCTURl Rundown 45 4 19 Nb ADULTS $300 CHILDREN $20 0 MmCorfo Valleyj luxuryWA Discount VoflEAT IEATB n The Booh Of I UTAH 3752-307- 2 1 Providanc lOO N OD Receive one free entry for the $100000 Giveaway when you register at the Player’s Club booth Earn additional entries by playing slots with your Player’s Club card The more you play the more entries you earn and the more chances you have to winTen entries will be drawn daily to enter thie $100000 drawing Only 800 entries will be placed in the barrel One entry will be drawn from the barrel at midnight on Saturday December 20 to win $100000 cash!
