nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy A memorial service for family and friends will be held at noon on Saturday March 15 at the Whitney church Interment will follow at a later date in the Whitney Cpmetery Zenna Beth Crockett ' tunities Zenna Beth taught at Utah State for 35 years A file cabinet full of letters attests to her suc- cess as a teacher She could humble the haughty and raise up the weak but whatever each letter gives thanks for Utah- At Utah State she specialized speech correction with a mirror in physical education and she was prominent in speech t work and women's athletics in She was a member of the college varsity squad drama production committee and the speech corrections clinic and her athletic skills won her a place on the Honorary Varsity Teams of basketball softball and volleyball In recognition of her service as an intramural manag- er in the Aggie's Women's Intra- mural Program and as a member of the team that won ' the woman's intramural trophy two years in a row Zenna Beth was given the “white sweater" the highest individual award given by the Women's Athletic Association at USAC Her first goal was corripleted when she received her bachelor's degree of arts and science from Utah State in 1949 Zenna Beth trained at the National Aquatic School of the American Red Cross at Catalina Island and also at Prescott Ariz She was employed as a lifesaving instructor as well as al swim: ming instructor at Utah State She worked at Hill Field as an airplane mechanic was secre- -
