children born to Abnun and Stella Dailey The family later moved to Dayton Idaho where be was raised on inducted 20 new members To be eligible students must be 26 or older have a five-yeor more gap in their education a minimum grade point average of 30 be involved in a farm with thei following brotheri'taf sisters: Abram F Milton (deceased) Elbert John ' Max (deceased) (deceased) Mardean Richard and Ralph (twins deceased) Edna (deceased) Stella and Frank Don attended schools in Dayton fasten and Weston where he was active in sports music and drama and was Student Body President when he graduated inT938 He met his wife lone Rich from St Charles Idaho when she came to Dayton to teach school and i v they were married in the Logan LDS Temple on Feb i 7 r ‘ f 11 1942 They lata became die proud parents of four chil- dren Carol (Ellis) Child Riverdale Utah Brent (Billee) Dailey Farmington Utah Brenda (Glade) Schvaneveldt of Weston and Alan (Carol) Dailey North Logan Don was in the Pacific in World Wv II and later served a mission to die West Central State Mission Hd lived in Dayton for many yean where he operated his own farm and enjoyed life At the age of 43 he decided to attend Utah State University where he graduated in 1966 with a degree in English and speech teaching at West Side High School for one yew and the next 16 years at Sky View High School in Smithfield He loved teaching and had great rapport with his students Don lok his beloved wife lone in November of 1974 as a result of a tragic automobile accident He later married Cleone Petersen whom he had met 12 yean earlier when they both attended USU They were married in June of 1975 in die Logan LDS Temple He inher- ited Cleone’s six children: frnne Sanduk Kristine Foltz w ffiSKTflR" en P " Don Q Dailey Over the years he has had many many funerals He has always loved “people" and it shows in the great relationships that develop He is a en five 23 fun-lovi- ng happy man with a wonderful sense of humor and a great personality and is a constructed He has also Shortly after his retirement from teaching in 1983 he and Cleone were called to officiate in the Logan LDS Temple completed requirements for a master's degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling from Utah State University Kirkbride-Knighto- n is the Lenis of daughter e and the late Frank of Idaho Falls Idaho She is married to Clark D Knighton of North Logan and Speas-Kirk-bri- and 11 Ora’s brothers rod sisters are: friend to all who know him He and Cleone have enjoyed traveling together in their RV visiting most of the states in the union as well as Hawaii Mexico and Canada Don is a ' “conscientious" walker loves to read and is currently writing his life history After considerable research he and Cleone wrote “The Hills of committee as one of the top 100 events in North America for 2000 This prestigious designation is an important recognition by the group tour and travel other quality criteria consecutive year The award
