Vice President of Academics As I run for Vice President of Academics I decided to base my platform on getting the community to support each other If we could get Emery Carbon and East Carbon supporting CEU we could hold a dance once a month lor everyone Usually you do see high school students at the dances at CEU anyway ao you know their will be more support at CEU Once this happens you'll get more people at the basketball games and CEU should get more applications for ad- mittance Also I think we should support the community more Their are a lot of students who will not come to CEU because the community does not get along with the students I would like to change that Finally I would like to get more students from different high schools All they hear is the worst about CEU I would like to tell them the good things like the teachers Trudy Derrick - Vice President of Activities The main purpose I am running for ASCEU Vice President of Activities is to bring CEU students and the community together through activities My way of accomplishing this is focusing on better publicity for the games by building school pride through community support I will also work on bringing out the support in all the clubs available through their participation By getting everyone involved in the activities there will be more community support and a sense of pride in the school itself This will raise the pride of the students the teams and the all around academic status of the school new sense of pride will push the students to excel in both grades and sports Jalaine Humphrey -
