May pm at the Geary Theatre Trophies plaques and certificates will go to students in areas of departmental excellence studentbody athletics activities and a variety of other categories Academic achievement will be recognized with the announcement of those of the class graduating receiving honors and high honors Students receiving CEU scholarships for next year will be announced Among special awards to be made will be the Most Freshman Outstanding Woman scholarship and trophy to be presented by the CEU Faculty Women’s Association and the annual presentation to the Student Council by Dean of Students Dean Walton and the trophy to the out O Commencement address a presentation will be made by Dr Alphonso Trujillo Dean of struction to an In- Out- standing Teacher Honorary degrees will be (resented to Calvin Black of Blanding and Dr Roy W Robinson of Price for their outstanding service to the college and the community The graduates will be (resented by Dr Trujillo as Luke Pappas member of the Utah State Board of awards the Regents and certificates diplomas of completion standing campus club the most Probably coveted awards of the evening are those to the Most Outstanding Man and Most Outstanding Woman given to the two students of the graduating class who have achieved both academic and activity records worthy of this honor These awards were decided upon by a com- mittee of faculty ad- ministration and students They will be presented by CEU President Dean M McDonald highlight of the program will be the installation ceremony for the 1977-7- 8 studentbody officers A Michelle Powell Academic is in charge of the Awards Program In addition to the awards and installation she has planned a short entertainment program She urges all students faculty and staff to attend
