Ismene arc Mary Platis and Ann Dunncll Allen Jacob popular veteran of the Carbon College stage acts the difficult role of the stubborn king Croon personification of all dictators Mack Potter a promising new comer at Carbon plays for two of the performances Clifford Madsen in immaculate evening clothes gives a unique interpretation to the role of the Greek Chorus and Garth Wakefield adds a is paid out at the maturity of the policy in conformance with the policyholders’ wishes All eligible policyholders also may request VA in writing to pay their regular dividends to them in rash nr to apply the dividends in payment of future premiums Permanent plan policyholders have one more choice They may request VA in writing to place their regular dividends on deposit drawing interest modernized version of the play used by the Carbon College players was written by the French playwright Jean Anouilh in 1943 and was acclaimed a sensational and effective criticism of the Nazi occupation of France when it was staged during World War II The English translation by Lewis Gal-alore played on Broadway in 1946 with Katherine Cornell and Sir Cedric Ilardwlckc The original play was written by the Greek playwright Sophocles in the year nt 441 BC Carbon Pupils Travel To Ski Resorts Though Carbon county is still snowless some of the students of the high school and college in their January 20 21 and 22 at which time scoutmasters cubbing commissioners program scout commissioners explorers district committeemen and of sponsoring agencies will be present to receive instruction All those interested in scouting arc urged to attend There will be three general meetings with several sectional meetings for the different divisions jin scouting Particular attention has been given to the district committeemen The sendees of Parley Neeltz area engineer have been secured to teach the district committeemen during the three sessions scheduled for January 21 Those receiving 17 hours of instruction will receive certificates of completion of the course This is the fourth year that Carbon College has conducted this UnApproxiversity of Scouting imately 300 people are expected to attend
